Technique for Concealing/Covering Acne Breakouts and Scars with Make-up

Some have have severe acne while others experience the occasional spot. The secret to hiding this annoying skin problems is to create an optical illusion with your concealer. I chose the finest tipped makeup brushes I have, the super thin liner brushes work best. Choose a concealer shade that matches your skin tone, and one that is a shade deeper than your skin tone. A common mistake is using a light concealer to hide a breakout. If we think back to the techniques of Highlighting and Contouring our face, we will remember that darker, or deeper tones will help disguise, or sink certain features in (such as sculpting cheekbones) Rather than applying the product in one huge lump over the pimple or scar, create small pixels of concealer around the blemish. Repeat with the darker tone, and finish with a setting powder that is suitable for your skintone.
