Skin tags vary in size and appearance — some are as small as a grain of rice, while others are as large as a walnut! In medical terms they are known as acrochordon or pedunculated papilloma. Even though skin tags are actually small skin tumors, they are benign and harmless. Since they contain nerve cells, contact with clothing or jewelry, shaving, or just touching them can cause irritation.

Skin Tags are commonly found around creases or folds in the skin but can occur just about anywhere on the body. They often appear as flat or thin cylindrical shaped flesh-like growths protruding from the skin. They can develop in clusters or individually. Sometimes skin tags are really quite cumbersome and ugly if occuring in some places of your body such face, neck, eyelid and so on.

Like warts, skin tags are classically treated by burning (cauterizing), or freezing the tissue with liquid nitrogen. Some doctors may opt to surgically remove skin tags. The best idea for removal of skin tags is to ask your physician to take them all off and to provide you with a corticoid cream to avoid re-appearence of such tags (lesions). There are several reasons for my suggestion that you should go to your doctor.

Firstly, even if you are careful, there is a much greater chance of infection doing it yourself; Secondly, ugly scar may occur if you take off too much improperly. Thirdly, if there is some unpredictable bleeding that couldn’t be stopped as planned, a more expensive trip to the hospital is needed. Last but not least, if you remove it yourself, you wouldn’t know and might not catch the possible skin cancer before it gets worse just because of lack of knowledge. Therefore, better safe than sorry, especially when it comes to medical procedures, even minor ones.

Even though surgical methods are very common, these methods are certainly expensive to get rid of skin tags and once surgical intervention or chemical acids are used, a scar is likely to occur in that area, which make these methods seem unnecessary.

Actually, there are other alternative methods to effictively get rid of skin tags at much less cost. If you do a little searching online, you will find that you could find scores of home remedies effective in treating for skin tags. Some remedies do work and have already benifited lots of patients.

Natural plant medicines can treat skin tags initially. Aside from curing skin tags, these natural essential oils have other benefits in the overall health. Natural plant medicine is a very vast field and new discoveries are constantly coming to light. Natural medicinal plants deliver profound results to cure a vast array of ailments; recent scientific studies demonstrate this very fact and show just how powerful they can be. The beauty of these naturally occurring extracts is that they not only deliver incredible results to eradicate specific ailments, but do so without undesired side effects.

CURED reveals the secrets of natural plant medicine. Our background is in biochemistry specializing in the field of medicinal plants and evidence based natural plant medicine. This has allowed us to develop specialized and incredibly effective remedies available to health practitioners and the general public with guaranteed results.

CURED’s all natural treatment–SkinTagCure represents a safe and effective alternative to these invasive procedures. It is a new all natural, certified organic topical treatment that works quickly to eliminate skin tags. Its effectiveness against skin tag is supported by published scientific studies. Even Wikipedia encyclopedia concurs. In their June 2008 edition, the essential oil section, clearly states: “Pesticide residues: There is concern about pesticide residues in essential oils, particularly those used therapeutically. For this reason, practitioners…choose to buy (certified) organically produced oils.”

If you are interested in the components of SkinTagCure and the scientific research that proves the effectiveness of the extracts in SkinTagCure, you can go to our website http://www.bcured.net to learn more. There, you can also find out why this treatment is so efective, instructions for use and more information about CURED and its natural organic medicines.

Shaving is a part of just about every man’s and woman’s daily routine, a dreaded part. Am I going to nick myself? How long will the irritation last this time? Shaving the night before to avoid a rashy red face. Pretty much every man that I know of shaves, and so razor burn can cause huge problem to many people (even women hate this as they get razor burn on their legs and I’m sure that has to be very uncomfortable to walk with and wear panty hose over).
To avoid this affliction, care should be taken to use the correct equipment and technique. Razor burn is a kind of burning sensation that you experience after shaving. This is caused by the razor removing the skins natural moisture and thusly causing irritation. This makes the skin very sensitive, dry, and sometimes inflamed. Shaving is a very unnatural and high friction process and if done incorrectly can quickly irritate your skin.
Sometimes razor burn can be very uncomfortable, and can cause visible rashes and bumps along the face and neck, or any other place that is shaved regularly (there are not any exceptions! So girls beware!). It can be both ugly and painful, in extreme cases it can even lead to scarring due to shaving off and nicking of the bumps and ingrown hairs that can result and this can be very painful and result in an inflammed condition similar to acne vulgaris in its most serious manifestations. People have been using different methods to cure razor burn for centuries.
In almost every case prevention is normally better than a cure, and razor burn is no exception to this. It is much easier and better to prevent razor burn than looking for a treatment after you have got it. After a hair has been shaved, it begins to grow back. When a razor edge harshly moves over the follicle of the hair, it gets broken and injured at the edges. Due to the dirt and other foreign bodies present at the base of the skin, infection of the follicle wound can take place causing itchy red rashes, which can even look like pimples.
These inflamed papules or pustules are the most irritating symptom of Razor burn, they are also quite disfiguring as it causes your skin to look red and blotchy. And with repeated daily shaving and irritation they can even mimic more severe cases of acne and have similar resultant scars. This does not need to happen and can be avoided.

Skin tag removal is usually performed clinically by the dermatologist or your family doctor at the clinic. Alternatively, folks may use a do-it-yourself (DIY) medication sold at local pharmacies to get rid of those ugly skin tags. To most folks, this appears to be the only options they could think of. Unknown to them, more people who have understood the benefits of using natural remedies are starting to adopt this approach to remove skin tags at home.

If you are healthy and do not have any drug allergy, you would not be new to prescribed medicine or over-the-counter (OTC) medications. You may already know that these medications often produce side-effects, be it harmless short-term effects which can be felt instantaneously or have long-term repercussions. Traces of harmful elements in the medications could lead to complications on our skin or rashes.

First of all, we would examine the adoption of modern clinical techniques for skin tag removal for its potential risks. Skin tags can be frozen off and removed by a common technique called cyrotherapy which is also used to remove other kinds of skin growths such as moles and warts. Another method is by cauterization or simply burning the skin tag off using electric currents. The skin tissue around the skin tag is at risk of skin burns or dyschromic lesions.

Clinical methods of removal involving excision by a scalpel or scissors can be painful especially if you suffer from multiple skin tags. Even under the numbing effect of local anesthesia, patients have complained about the irritation and discomfort they have to endure during the process. Bleeding will result as well and aluminium chloride is often applied to stop the bleeding. Scarring is also possible.

No doubt that these clinical methods may offer relief to your skin tag problem, they are ineffective in preventing its recurrence in the future. In other words, the treatment may not bring permanent and lasting results. These treatment methods may not be cheap as well. In case you are not aware, skin tag removal is largely a cosmetic procedure and is unlikely to be covered by your insurance policy. You may have to foot the entire bill.

These are some of the reasons why people are starting to explore other ways to remove skin tags in a safe and affordable manner. It is understandable that they are looking towards a permanent solution to their skin tag condition which clinical treatment has no absolute answer for. Skin tag victims have had to suffer this condition until recently when a sufferer managed to eliminate his skin tags and set himself free permanently. He now shares about his secrets to getting rid of skin tags naturally, painlessly and most importantly, permanently within 3 short days from home. Find out about his story from my blog.
